Nen, hello. People react differently to different remedies. In my book the best remedy for eczema is the herbal cream and spray combo by Champori. It is homemade, steroid-free, and works fast: I had my patches cleared in just few weeks and haven’t had a relapse in more than a year now!
    Best,

My family uses Arbonne. It is the best! It is all natural and it improves your skin. I love the stuff…it is a must have in my home!

Since eczema is caused by SO many factors, it’s hard to say without actually SEEING your skin. The tendency for a person to have eczema breakouts is inherited by one or more parents, and is often associated with neurological disorders such as Asperger’s Syndrome.

Some of my clients with mild cases have displayed good results after applying a mixture of two drops Essential Oil of Cypress (available in healthfood stores) to 1 tablespoon Cetaphil lotion (available in US drugstores) applied after showering with a very mild shower gel (I recommend Aveeno brand) daily. Some clients’ eczema is deeper and flares up after eating a lot of sugar and starches, which goes hand-in-hand with an intestinal yeast infection. Consult a naturopath to determine if you have an internal yeast build-up. Also, if you can go to a qualified allergy specialist, he/she may be able to pinpoint the cause of your flare-ups. My niece’s eczema is the worst when trees are in bloom and she is forced to go outside for recess/gym class and play on the grass or around trees. For some crazy reason she gets better when she swims in heavily chlorinated pools!

In any case, take very short showers (not baths), avoid harsh soaps, hot (or very cold) water, mold or mildew (this may be an old-wives’-tale, but it’s been said mold spores irritate skin), and ALL stress. If you still experience eczema flareups, consult a naturopath in your area or consult one of the practitioners at the website below. They’re really helpful!
